1998 my wife and I visited Nashville, Tennessee and while at the Legendary Legends Corner, located on the strip, I was lucky enough to perform a few songs on stage that Friday and Saturday night. As I was leaving the bar tender yelled out, "Hey, Singing Fireman from Indiana, hope to see you back."  I decided if a bar tender in Nashville could remember that name anyone could.  The Singing Fireman has stayed with me for over 25 years.

Between leaving the Army & joining the Richmond Fire Department I played in several local bands.  Had a lot of fun but decided after the Nashville visit to go solo.  Through the years I've added DJ, Karaoke and Photobooth to entertain multiple types of gigs and consider myself more of an entertainer than an acoustic performer.   I love inviting the crowd to help me on stage. My goal has always been to create smiles.  If you're happier when you leave than when you arrived I did my job.

Memorable performances for me include The Legends Corner,  (Nashville, TN),  The Crews Nest in Put-in-Bay,  corporate events for Advantage Home Health, Colgate, State Firefighter Convention, Cope Environmental, and Girls Inc.  Many chamber events, festivals and weddings in and around Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Kentucky, and throughout Indiana.

Current Equipment: 

I use a Bose L1 Pro 32 Portable line array system, Presonus StudioLive ARc-Series Audio interface/mixer, Seinhieiser 835, Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer foot pedal, Taylor 816 CE.  Usually bring uplighting and place songlist on tables.  I engage and encourage the crowd for requests and invite to sing with me if the time & or event is right.

It's been a heck of a ride and the fire is still burning.
