How does it work?

1. Start with acoustic music and gradually build the energy.
   I typically use the first hour for acoustic music. During the second and third hours, I begin warming up the crowd by switching between acoustic-only songs and songs with backing tracks. This change in sound helps refresh the audience’s ears and keeps the show from becoming too repetitive. My experience has taught me that after listening to acoustic music for a couple of hours, the audience’s ears can start to tire, so changing things up keeps their attention and energy level high.

2. Get the audience involved.
   As the crowd warms up, I start recruiting people to participate in the music. I look for the natural “shower singers,” air guitar players, table tappers, and anyone already moving to the music. I also put tambourines and shakers on the tables so people have an easy way to join in. The goal is to turn the audience from spectators into participants.

3. Build the excitement into a KaraFun dance party.
   From there, I start stirring up the crowd for more KaraFun. With the right selection of songs, the karaoke portion naturally evolves into a KaraFUN Dance Party, where people aren't just watching someone sing—they’re dancing, singing along, and having fun with the performers. The energy created by one person singing can quickly spread throughout the room and get everyone involved.
